Terms of Service
Use photos of yourself or of people who agreed to it, pay in prepaid credits that are refunded whenever a generation fails, and don’t pass the results off as real photographs.

This document is an engineering draft pending review by counsel. It describes what the service actually does today and is written to be accurate, but it is not yet legal advice or a final agreement.
The agreement
These terms govern your use of kasually. By creating an account you accept them and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You must be 18 or over. The service is built around photographs of people, so we set the bar above the legal minimum.
What the service does
You provide a photo of a person and a garment source — a product image, an item from our catalog, or a photo of someone wearing an outfit. We generate an image showing the person wearing those items, using third-party AI models.
The output is a synthetic image, not a photograph and not a prediction of fit. It may differ from reality in proportion, colour, drape, fabric behaviour and detail. Do not rely on it for sizing decisions, and do not present it as a genuine photograph.
The photos you upload
This is the most important obligation in this document.
- You may upload a photo of a person only if you are that person, or you have their permission. By accepting these Terms, you agree that this obligation applies to every photo you submit. Choosing to use a photo confirms that it meets this requirement; no separate checkbox is needed for each photo. We record the confirmation against the image.
- You may not upload photos of anyone under 18, under any circumstances. Automated screening rejects images that appear to show a minor, and we report what the law requires us to report.
- You may not upload explicit or sexual imagery, or attempt to generate it.
- You may not use the service to impersonate, defame, harass or deceive anyone — for example by presenting a generated image as a real photograph of a real person in a situation that never happened.
- You may not upload content you have no right to use, including copyrighted photographs belonging to someone else.
If someone appearing in a photo you uploaded asks us to erase it, we will, without asking you first.
Who owns what
Your photos stay yours. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store your images, send them to the AI provider that generates your result, and show the result back to you. That licence ends when the images are deleted.
We do not use your photos or results to train AI models, and we contract with our providers so that they do not either. We do not use your images in marketing.
You are free to use the results you generate, subject to the obligations in section 3 and to any rights other people hold in the garments or imagery you supplied. All delivered results carry a visible kasually.me watermark, including downloaded and shared images. Results carry an embedded provenance marker identifying them as AI-generated. Removing or obscuring that marker to pass a result off as a real photograph breaches these terms.
Credits and payment
The service runs on prepaid credits. New accounts receive 3 free credits, once per person. Each try-on in the Studio costs 3 credits. The cost is the same whether the outfit is shown on its own or worn by someone.
When you submit a try-on we place a hold on the credits. If it succeeds the hold is consumed. If it fails or you cancel it while queued, the hold is released in full — you are never charged for a generation you did not receive. Every movement is itemised in your transaction history.
Credits are not money. They are not transferable, not exchangeable for cash, and have no value outside the service, except where consumer law says otherwise. Prices for credit packs are shown before purchase and may change for future purchases.
EU right of withdrawal. Credits are digital content. You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase; by using credits within that period you ask us to begin performance immediately, which ends the withdrawal right for the credits you have spent. Unspent credits from a purchase made in the last 14 days can be refunded — write to support@kasually.me.
Fair use of the platform
You may run a limited number of try-ons at once — three by default, more once you have purchased credits — and submissions are rate-limited. Do not attempt to bypass those limits, create multiple accounts to collect free credits repeatedly, scrape the service, or access it other than through the interfaces we provide.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Generation depends on third-party AI providers; if one is unavailable we route around it where we can, and release your credit hold where we cannot. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we retire something you have paid for, we will tell you and deal with unspent credits fairly.
Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from privacy settings. It takes effect after a 7-day window during which you can change your mind.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, particularly the obligations in section 3. A person reviews any permanent suspension before it takes effect, and you may appeal by writing to support@kasually.me. Where a breach is severe — imagery of minors, for instance — we act immediately and review afterwards.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, flattering, suitable for any particular purpose, or free of artefacts.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You are responsible for how you use the images you generate, and for having the rights described in section 3.
Changes to these terms
Each revision carries the version string shown at the top of this page, recorded against your acceptance. Material changes require you to accept the new version before continuing to use the service. Continued use after a minor clarification means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, and disputes fall to its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
